Kintsu privacy notice

Updated 19 October 2026

Who we are

Datalux Solutions, Trinidad and Tobago, operates DataluxTT Games and makes Kintsu. We are responsible for the information described here. Contact support@dataluxtt.com with privacy questions.

This notice applies to the Windows version of Kintsu that you download from dataluxttgames.com. Our website privacy policy covers dataluxttgames.com itself.

In short

Kintsu has no accounts, advertising, analytics, in-game purchases or chat. It does not ask for your name, email address, location or any other personal details, and it does not connect to the internet. Your progress is saved on your own PC and is not sent to us.

What Kintsu keeps on your PC

Kintsu saves your progress in a folder on your PC: %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Kintsu. This includes where you are in the story, the names you give mended pieces, a picture of each finished piece’s gold seams, and your settings, such as volume, turning speed, guided restoration and fullscreen.

The Godot engine that Kintsu is built with also keeps a log file there, with technical messages such as your graphics card’s name, and caches that help the game draw faster. All of this stays on your PC. We cannot see it, and it is not linked to you.

When you download the game

The download is served by Cloudflare (R2 storage, served from downloads.dataluxttgames.com), which processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information and the time of the request, so it can deliver the file and prevent abuse. Once Kintsu is on your PC, playing it sends nothing anywhere.

Children

Kintsu is suitable for a broad audience, though its stories touch on loss. Because the game does not collect names, contact details, accounts or other personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact support@dataluxtt.com and we will delete it.

Deleting your saves

Your saves stay on your PC until you delete them. To delete them, delete the folder %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Kintsu (paste it into the address bar of File Explorer to find it). Deleting the game’s own folder removes the game but not your saves.

If you email us, we keep the correspondence as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up or legal obligation.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete any information we hold about you, such as an email you sent us, by emailing support@dataluxtt.com. Your saves are held only on your PC, so you can delete them yourself at any time as described above.

Other versions and changes

If Kintsu is released through an app store or a games store, the store operator’s own terms and privacy policy apply to your store account, downloads and any store features. We will update this notice before any version of the game starts handling information differently, and show the date of the latest update above.
